Each plate is packaged in an octagonally-shaped, two-piece styrofoam disk, measuring 9.25" from side to side, 10" from corner to corner, and 1.75" deep. Each styrofoam disk has a molded interior to hold one plate securely in place. A white sticker (1.75 x .5 inches) on the package lid carries the plate's design number and title, as well as the sequential number of the individual plate itself:

Each plate measures 8" diameter, has a 22 carrat gold border, and is numbered sequentially on the reverse. A total of 1250 plates were produced (250 in each of five designs); 20% of these were issued in matched numbered sets of five.
